Like many of the well-respected craftsmen that have come to symbolize the quality one can expect from Amish-made goods, Green Acres Furniture has made its reputation by providing the personal touch to each customer order. Sometimes, that means customers' orders can take awhile. Green Acres Furniture customers are told up front that they probably will wait a little longer for their furniture than they would if they bought somewhere else, but once people understand the company's entire "timber to furniture" process, they usually don't mind the wait. "We are building heirlooms, and heirlooms aren't built overnight."
